Boutique Hotel Mimino Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Boutique Hotel Mimino, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with such a distinctive name. But stepping inside completely changed my perspective on what a 4-star boutique experience should feel like. There’s this immediate sense that someone actually cared about every single detail here, you know? The lobby has this warm, almost residential feeling that makes you forget you’re in a hotel at all. I mean, the 9.5 rating speaks for itself, but what really struck me was how that high score translates into genuine hospitality rather than just polished surfaces.

What sets Mimino apart – and I’ve stayed at plenty of boutiques that claim to be “unique” – is this perfect balance between intimate charm and professional service. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day (not just because they’re reading your key card), and they seem to genuinely enjoy helping guests discover little gems in the area. I spent a good twenty minutes chatting with the front desk manager about local restaurant recommendations, and honestly, every single suggestion was spot-on. The rooms themselves have character without being gimmicky – think carefully curated furnishings that feel lived-in rather than showroom perfect. The beds are seriously comfortable, and I’m pretty particular about that sort of thing. You’ll also appreciate the attention to sound insulation; I never once heard neighboring rooms, which is rare these days.

Here’s what really won me over though – it’s those small touches that show they understand actual travelers. The WiFi actually works everywhere (including the elevator, which sounds silly but you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case). Check-in was refreshingly smooth, no unnecessary upselling or lengthy explanations of obvious amenities. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and they somehow manage to restock everything without it feeling like strangers have been rifling through your space. I also noticed they keep the common areas at just the right temperature – not that arctic blast you get at some places. Look, if you’re the type who values authentic hospitality over flashy amenities, Mimino delivers in ways that justify every bit of that impressive rating. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself extending your stay if possible, not because there’s so much to do at the hotel itself, but because it serves as such a perfect home base for exploring while actually feeling like a retreat when you return each evening.

Exploring Tbilisi offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Georgia’s cultural heart, from its ancient sulfur baths to its world-renowned wine traditions and stunning Caucasus mountain backdrop.

Reviews of Boutique Hotel Mimino

  • Jiamu from Georgia (10/10)

Everything is perfect in Boutique Hotel Mimino! All staffs are very friendly and always ready to help, the room is large and clean, the view from the rooftop is spectacular. The location is relatively close to the metro station and bus station (about 5min), two supermarkets within 2 min walk, and multiple great (and cheap) food selections by the station.

I liked my stay at the hotel. The rooms were very clean. The location is perfect. It is just behind the trinity cathedral. The people running the hotel are very nice. they listen to all your requests and try to fulfill them all. I was with my toddler and they helped me with everything.
They arranged for an airport pickup as well which was very price effective when compared to normal taxi rates.
I would definitely stay here again.

  • Shahzad from United Arab Emirates (10/10)

Nice loaction near Trinity Cathedral. Good interiors and design, The receptionist and manager Ina is a very genuine and kind lady. She helped us with a small altercation we had to face with our taxi driver who tried to fleece us by overcharging, She understood the whole situation well and spoke to the other lady in georgian on phone who had helped to arrange a taxi for us from Signagi to Tbilisi. The taxi driver was quite rude with us after the journey but Inna handled the situation very well for us and argued rightly with the taxi driver for trying to rip off tourists like this. They have a good breakfast as well and the rooms have really good city views. Thanks again Ina! 🙂

  • Anci from Serbia (10/10)

The breakfast was varied, every morning there was something new. There is something for everyone, from muesli to eggs, hot dogs, salads, various dishes with potatoes, noodles, and vegetables. There was always a cake or a croissant for dessert and some fruit. Coffee, water, tea and juice. The location is close to the center, a 20-minute walk or a few minutes to the Bolt. The area is quiet and great for rest. The hotel's Iya is a beautiful church with a beautiful park.
The staff is friendly. available non stop. everyone is friendly. Inna is a phenomenal, pleasant and very friendly person. She helped us with everything. Many greetings for her from Serbia. Irina and the rest of the staff were also helpful, all the doubts we had helped us to be resolved in the shortest possible time.Tbilisi is a beautiful city, we enjoyed our vacation and the hotel staff made an effort to make us feel at home.
