The whole concept revolves around biographical stories, which sounds a bit gimmicky on paper, but they’ve pulled it off with this understated elegance that doesn’t hit you over the head with the theme.

The location in Tbilisi is pretty sweet too – you’re right in the mix of things without being stuck in tourist central. I found myself walking to some fantastic local spots that most visitors never discover, and the staff actually knew which wine bars the locals frequent (huge bonus points there). The rooms have this interesting blend of contemporary design with subtle nods to Georgian culture, though I’ll be honest, the bathroom setup took some getting used to. Nothing major, just one of those modern designs where you need a minute to figure out how the shower controls work. The beds though – seriously comfortable, and they’ve got blackout curtains that actually block out light, which is rarer than it should be.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail and the genuine warmth of the people working there. The front desk team remembered my name after one night, and when I mentioned I was interested in Georgian wine, they connected me with a sommelier who gave me a crash course that was way more informative than any formal tour I could’ve booked. The breakfast spread is solid without being overwhelming – fresh local ingredients, good coffee, and they make these khachapuri variations that’ll ruin you for the tourist-trap versions elsewhere in the city. I also appreciated that they didn’t blast music in common areas or have that weird hotel smell that some places can’t shake. It felt authentic, if that makes sense – like they’re genuinely proud of what they’ve created rather than just trying to tick boxes for star ratings. With an 8.8 rating, they’re clearly doing something right, and after spending several nights there, I get why people keep coming back.

  The rooms were spacious, new and clean. The hotel seems modern and comfortable. The breakfasts were fine and the staff kindly ordered me a taxi when I needed to check out early in the morning. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the bus station.

  The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were very courteous . Breakfast was nice, but can provide options for Eggs to order. Eggs were there otherwise as boiled / omelette.
  Overall value for money.
  Icing on the cake is the staff behaviour.

  I couldn’t contact the taxi ilI ordered and the reception went to their car and guided them to the hotel.
