The Beridze Apartment is tucked up on Vukol Beridze Street, right in the heart of Mtatsminda, and honestly, it’s one of those spots that feels like a secret kept by locals. The building itself is a classic Georgian apartment block, with a slightly worn facade that somehow adds to the charm. As soon as I stepped inside, the scent of fresh coffee brewing in the kitchen—there’s a tiny kitchenette with a kettle and a few mugs that look like they belong in a home—hit me. The room is spacious, with a comfy double bed that actually gives you the right amount of sleep, and the windows frame a view of the city’s skyline that feels both intimate and expansive.

When it comes to the neighborhood, you’ll find yourself surrounded by things that locals love. Just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment is the Mtatsminda Park, where you can climb up the funicular and catch a breath of mountain air, or head to the old bazaar on Mtkvarze Street for some hand‑crafted souvenirs. If you’re craving a bite, there’s a small, family‑run kfc‑style restaurant right on the corner that serves the best khachapuri you’ll ever taste (the cheese is gooey, the dough is buttery). For a night out, the bars on Gldani Road are a short metro ride away, but you can also grab a drink at the cozy café on the opposite side of the street called “Tbilisi Cozy,” which has an old vinyl collection that plays Georgian folk tunes all night. Parking can be a bit of a hassle since the street is narrow, but the building’s basement has a small, paid parking spot that’s usually available—just be sure to lock your car because a few days after the holidays, you’ll see a lot of tourists trying to find a space. Noise-wise, it’s pretty quiet most nights, though you’ll hear the occasional distant traffic or the hum of the metro as it passes below.

Check‑in was a breeze. The front desk is managed by a friendly woman named Eka, who greeted me with a warm smile and handed over a keycard that worked like a charm. She even gave me a quick tour of the apartment’s little quirks—a built‑in kettle, a fold‑away table that can become a sofa, and a tiny balcony that’s perfect for a morning coffee while watching the city wake up. The Wi‑Fi password was scribbled on a small card, and the signal was solid, so I didn’t have to worry about streaming my favorite shows. The apartment’s rating of 9.3 reflects the fact that guests often mention the “homey vibe” and the “quiet nights” as major positives. I didn’t encounter any issues with heating; the radiators work well even in the winter, and the blanket that comes with the bed keeps you warm without being too heavy. If you’re traveling during the busy spring season, you’ll notice that the street gets busier, but the apartment’s windows are double‑glazed, so the noise from the street is barely audible. Overall, the Beridze Apartment feels like a comfortable, reliable base from which to explore everything Tbilisi has to offer, and I’d definitely say it’s worth the stay.

  The location is great, very close to the center.
  There are many restaurants and bars around. Also the area is super safe.
  The flat is nice, but too many stairs :)))
  It's perfect to fit a family with kids or friends who wants a privacy. The communication with the owner was really good, he was available for any question or request.
  
  What could be improved: The neighbors upstairs like to walk loudly around 2pm. And since the floor is wooden, you can hear everything.

  Very cozy and clean rooms, huge apartments! 5 minutes walk to Rustaveli avenue. Nice pizzeria and grocery stores are also in walking distance.

  A nice, big and clean apartment. Very large leaving room, a large bedroom and a small bedroom. Good ac in the leaving room. Windows in all the rooms.

  Great location right in the center, near Liberty Square.
  Separate entrance, and the apartment has all facilities. Spacious rooms, comfy beds. Pet friendly..
  Host is great, and even paid for our parking!
  
  What could be improved: Very steep stairs – be careful when booking with children or pets.
  Hair dryer almost doesn't work – better bring your own.
  Warn the host if you bring your pets – he was not happy because we did not tell him in advance.
