What I really appreciated – and this might sound weird – is that they actually thought about where you’d put your stuff. Like, there are enough surfaces and hooks and little nooks that you can actually unpack and settle in, even if you’re just there for a couple nights. The kitchen setup is particularly smart; it’s compact but not cramped, with everything you’d actually need if you wanted to grab groceries and cook instead of eating out every meal.

Honestly, the bed situation here is spot-on. They’ve got this mattress that’s firm enough that you don’t sink into oblivion but soft enough that you’re not sleeping on a board – took me about two minutes to fall asleep, which is saying something because I’m usually tossing around for at least twenty minutes in unfamiliar places. The shower pressure is exactly what you want after a long day of walking around, and the hot water actually stays hot. I know that sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places mess that up. The whole vibe is just… comfortable, I guess? Like, it’s polished and well-maintained, but it doesn’t feel precious or like you can’t actually live in the space. You can spread out your maps on the dining table, leave your coffee cup on the counter, kick your shoes off by the door – it accommodates real human behavior instead of fighting against it. The neighborhood’s got that nice residential feel where you can actually hear yourself think, but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere either.
