Barnovi Boutique Hotel Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Barnovi Boutique Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. You know how some places just don’t photograph well? This is one of those hidden gems that completely surprises you once you step through the doors. The lobby has this understated elegance that feels more like walking into a well-curated art gallery than a typical hotel, and I mean that in the best way possible.
What really struck me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between intimate and professional. It’s a 4-star property, but honestly, the service feels more personal than some 5-star places I’ve stayed at. The staff actually remembers your name after day one – not because they’re reading it off a computer screen, but because they genuinely seem to care. I had this one concierge who remembered I mentioned loving good coffee on my first morning, and every day after that, he’d have a recommendation for a different local roastery to try. Those little touches really add up, you know?
The rooms themselves are thoughtfully designed without being fussy about it. Everything feels intentional but not precious – if that makes sense. The beds are seriously comfortable (I’m talking sink-right-in comfortable), and they’ve got this perfect balance of modern amenities without losing character. The bathrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into everything, which honestly can be hit or miss at boutique properties. I particularly loved the attention to lighting – there’s actually enough light to read by, and the morning sun filtering through those well-placed windows makes the whole space feel alive. The 9.2 rating this place has earned is absolutely deserved, and I’d argue it might even be conservative. You’ll find yourself wanting to extend your stay just to spend more time in that perfectly appointed room, maybe order room service and just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere they’ve created here.

Reviews of Barnovi Boutique Hotel
- Zhang from China (10/10)- The environment is fantastic and the price is right. The most important thing is that the staff was amazing and gave me a home experience and I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance!
- Kristina from Germany (9/10)- "Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts were delightful, and the room was very clean. However, the only thing that slightly affected my experience was that I was informed about daily cleaning during check-in, but it did not happen. I stayed for two nights, and there was no cleaning, possibly due to an oversight.
- Hikmat from United Arab Emirates (10/10)- I loved the location, very convenient and close to everything.
The staff are so kind and helpful and professional, I felt at home.
The breakfast is so healthy and yummy!!
- Ahmed from United Arab Emirates (10/10)- The location is central staff are amazing and so helpful they exceed my expectations. I was celebrating my wife's birthday, and they provided a unique brand bottle of champagne in the room as well as they brought a birthday cake for us. breakfast is very good, hotel is very clean and service is amazing.
- Georgiana from Netherlands (10/10)- This is such a gem of a hotel! Everything was wonderful, the staff was ever so helpful and kind, breakfast was nice, and the building itself is quite new.
The location is very convenient next to Rustaveli metro, but easy to walk in the city centre and nearby restaurants and cafes. The street itself is quite steep, but it's fine to walk, and you can either park on the street, or make use of the hotel's parking space, if available.
- Fatma from United Arab Emirates (10/10)- the location of the hotel is great, staff were very helpful. Breakfast was tasty. The whole experience was amazing.
- Leonid from Netherlands (10/10)- The room was nice. The air-conditioning, hair dryer, lights, and all other amenities in the room were in good condition. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was as expected. The location is also really great, close to cozy bars and restaurants.
- Sergio from Portugal (8/10)- A modern and very clean hotel with a sort of familiar vibe. Spatious rooms. Very helpful people at the reception desk. Mini-bar full of snacks and not too expensive (went with the Twix bar). The hotel is 5 minutes away from the Rustaveli subway station which is very convenient. Also close to supermarkets and other stores. Solid value-for-money.
- Evgeny from Israel (10/10)- Ideal location to visit Old City and surrounding areas near Rustaveli boulevard. And at the same time – very quiet and pleasant place. The staff does everything to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Very good breakfast especially when you have it on outside terrace. Ideal place to stay in Tbilisi
- Alper from Turkey (10/10)- The location, our room, how clean everything was just made sure to elevate our trip in Tbilisi. But aside from all, starting from Alex, whole staff were amazing and very helpful. There were so many occasions that I should be thanking them all for. So if you are reading this I strongly recommend to choose this place for your stay.
