You know what really caught me off guard about Art House Petunia? I was expecting just another boutique hotel trying too hard to be artsy, but this place actually nails it. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone with genuine taste curated every single corner – and I mean that in the best way possible. The lobby has this perfect mix of vintage finds and contemporary pieces that somehow don’t feel forced or Instagram-staged.

Honestly, the 9.8 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. The staff – and I’m talking about everyone from the front desk to housekeeping – they just get it. Check-in was ridiculously smooth, no weird upselling or awkward small talk, just efficient hospitality that felt warm rather than robotic. My room had these incredible original artworks (actual paintings, not prints) and the bed situation was frankly exceptional. I’m usually pretty picky about pillows, but they’d clearly thought about having options without making you ask. The bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly – you’d be surprised how many places mess that up.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed, even when the hotel seemed pretty full. The walls are clearly built right, and there’s something about the way sound moves through the space that just works. Mornings were particularly lovely – there’s this natural light that filters through in a way that makes you want to linger over coffee rather than rush out. The whole vibe manages to feel both sophisticated and completely unpretentious, which is honestly rare these days. It’s the kind of place where you’d bring someone you want to impress, but you’d also feel perfectly comfortable just sprawling out with a book for hours. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between character and comfort, this is it.

  Ok, don't know where to start here! First of all, the owner is the nicest person you can probably meet in Georgia :)) She is so friendly, and she made sure everything was explained thoroughly, both regarding the house facilities, as well as to what one traveler might need to know around the hood, and beyond. The refurbished 19th century house, is anything anyone could ever want, and is you don't like it, you have serious issues :)). Some of the best food we've had, was in the restaurant located within the same yard, literally, steps away from the house. Thank you, Petunia House, and we would for sure stay there again, if back in Tbilisi.

  The property is ideally located in a very city centre near Conservatoire and Rustaveli avenue. It’s is spacious, decorated with style and fully furnished.
  You can park Your car in a protected courtyard under surveillance. Two good restaurants are right after the exit from the courtyard: just in front and on the right.
  All smart tips given by the landlord are precious, we used a lot.
  We enjoyed our small talks with Tara, that is a beautiful, intelligent, interesting and caring. Our stay was fantastic!

The host Tamara went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from start to finish – she was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.
  
  The attention paid towards every detail within the home is truly remarkable; each piece of art has been thoughtfully curated which made our experience all-the-more special. We felt like we were living inside a gallery!

  Art House Petunia and its owner Ms Tata needs no extra praise. She was the most gentle and polite person we met in our whole 6 day trip to Georgia. She patiently waited for us as we showed up late for the check-in. Upon receiving us, she took time and interest to brief us about her property and how everything is arranged within her house. The apartment is very well maintained and she has decorated it well with her collectibles. it had everything one needed to settle down for couple of days – utensils, spices, washing machine, heater, sandals, towels, tissues etc..Its just facing the Rustavelli Avenue street and everything you need is nearby. the house also has a parking lot etc…i would definitely recommend this place.

  The location of the house is perfect, it's located near the Rustaveli subway station and it's city center. Moreover, it is in 100 meters of the bus station where you can go directly from the airport. No need to ride a taxi, cuz bus costs 1gel per person and they accept MC and Visa.
  Just outside of the yard there's a branch of Pasanauri restaurant price/quality is perfect. But be careful, do not order any sauce with khinkali there (actually nowhere) it may offend local people.
  The house itself is well furnitured, there are everything you need to prepare meal. There are a fridge, a pan, forks, knives, spoons, cups, plates even a corkscrew.
  Heaters in every room, so you visit it even in winter

  We enjoyed the time in fabulous Georgia and in our cosy apartment, which has traditional and tasteful furniture. Pictures of rooms matches the reality, thus we are happy with everything. The area around is central, but apartment is been quite, we slept very well in the beds in different rooms. Our kind host gave perfect support to all our questions. We were feeling save and loved. We made our own breakfast in the apartment, but it is possible to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at several places close to the apartment.

  Perfect location and very nice host lady! Situated directly by Metro and near Old City but still very quiet. It Was so easy to go sightseeing from there. And the arrangement of the apartment is just Amazing. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

  С самой первой встречи было все отлично. Нас очень тепло встретила хозяйка Тата, хотя мы поздно приехали, уделила достаточно времени, отнеслась с пониманием к тому, что у нас не было возможности сразу оплатить. В апартаментах было очень уютно, красиво и чисто. Местоположение очень удобное, все что нужно самое интересное увидеть в Тбилиси рядом. До метро Руставели 2 минуты. Напротив входа в метро есть очень хороший ресторан Хинкали, вкусно и недорого можно покушать на любой вкус.
  Все фото соответствуют действительности. Очень благодарны Тате за ее труд, не жалко за такое жилье платить, даже если будет дороже.
