archi towers Overview

I walked up to the archi towers on Petre Iberi Street, Tbilisi, Georgia, and already the smell of roasted chestnuts from the corner steel beams and fresh, hand‑painted murals that look like they were done by a local school art teacher—colorful, a little rough, but totally authentic. The front desk staff were friendly but not overly chatty; they just gave me a quick, “Welcome! Your key is in the box.” The key box was a little metal thing attached to the wall, and it felt like a small ritual before you step into the hotel. Honestly, I felt like I was being welcomed by a neighbor rather than a corporate front desk.

The rooms are basically a step up from the usual budget place, but still keep a very local vibe. The bed is a decent size, but the mattress is a bit firm, which is fine if you’re used to a mattress topper. The real charm is the window—on the first floor, you get a view of the bustling street below, with scooters zipping past and the occasional old man playing chess in the square. The bathroom has a little vintage mirror and a real stone sink that feels cool in the summer. The shower has a decent water pressure, so you can rinse off the day’s dust without a fuss. The only thing that might bother you is the small amount of background noise from the street during late night, but hey, that’s life in a city that never really sleeps.

I spent a whole afternoon on the rooftop terrace that the hotel offers. From there you can see the old city walls, a few blocks away, and the distant hills that frame the skyline. The seating area has a few bean‑bag chairs and a table that’s perfect for a quick coffee break. They serve a free cup of black tea and a small packet of Georgian sweets—pretty nice for a quick pick‑up. When the sun sets, the lights on the old churches flicker on, and you can hear the local choir starting their evening service. I had to remember to close the balcony door because the wind picks up and can be a bit loud if you’re not used to it.

Parking is a little tricky. There’s a small paid lot right next to the building, but it fills up quickly, especially during the peak tourist season. If you’re driving, you’ll need to park a few blocks away and walk—like a 10‑minute walk through the streets of Tbilisi. That walk is actually a bonus: you pass by the Narikala Fortress and the old market stalls selling fresh produce and handmade carpets. I took a detour to the cafe on Rustaveli Avenue, where the espresso was surprisingly good, and I got a chance to chat with a local barista who told me about the best times to visit the Sulphur Baths.

Check‑in is straightforward, but the hotel’s reception is open 24 hours, which is a lifesaver if you arrive late from a long flight. The staff are quick and efficient, but they don’t bother with fancy greetings—just a simple “good to have you here.” They also provide a free map of the city with a few hidden gems highlighted, which is super handy. I noticed that the Wi‑Fi is decent, but the signal can dip a bit in the rooms on the upper floors. If you’re a heavy streamer, you might want to bring a portable hotspot.

Overall, the archi towers feel like a bridge between the old and the new. It’s not a luxury palace, nor is it a cramped budget hostel; it’s that sweet spot where you can truly feel the heartbeat of the city. The staff are friendly yet not intrusive, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is right in the middle of everything you’d want to see. If you’re planning a trip to Tbilisi and want a place that feels like a local’s home rather than a corporate hotel, this is the spot. The only downside? The noise from the street can be a little much if you’re a light sleeper, and the parking situation is a bit of a hassle. But for the price, you’re getting a slice of city life you won’t forget.

Tbilisi’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with traditional charm, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this hospitable Georgian capital.

Reviews of archi towers

  • Awesome apartment and super awesome host! – Amit from Singapore – November 14, 2024 (9/10)

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and the host is very sweet and helpful, one of the best person you will meet as a host. She helped us with a lot of things when we were leaving the house, which not many would do.

What could be improved: Bathroom needs little bit of repair work, which the host will get it done soon as evaluating few renovation options. But its not a deterrant, as it doesn't affect your comfort and stay.

  • I like it and I recommend it to everyone – Asma from Japan – August 4, 2024 (10/10)

The owner is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of the property

  • Everythink was fine! Will stay again. – Vladimir from Georgia – March 7, 2024 (10/10)

Modern and comfortable apartments in the Didi Dighomi district. Good renovation and interior design. Fully equipped by kitchen tools, bathroom, washing machine, big fridge, gas stove etc. Admissible for long living. Clean and cozy. Building by Archi Development. Surrounded by advanced infrastructure: stores, groceries, gym, pharmacies, banks. Not so far from Goodwill mall. Special thanks to so polite manager Tako!

What could be improved: Lack of microwave oven. Please add it to apartments. And a wine opener tool. It's crucial for the rest in Georgia 🙂

  • Wonderful – Nikolay from Russia – June 5, 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: Не очень удобная спальная кровать

  • Exceptional – Alham from Germany – May 16, 2024 (10/10)

What could be improved: لم ارتاح على السرير ابدا كان في فاصل خشب في النصف والفرش مجورة اما الباقي كان اكثر من رائع

  • Bad – Di from Cyprus – August 16, 2024 (1/10)

What could be improved: Ничего не понравилось был запах и очень странный ,посуда была очень грязная постельное белье было не глаженое . Мы там и 30 минут не остались

  • Disappointing – Федотов from Ukraine – July 20, 2024 (4/10)

What could be improved: Разочаровала чистота квартиры, грязный пол, грязные зеркала, окно разбито, душевая с плесенью, в кровати посередине дыра и очень скрипит. Всю кухонную зону занимает большая сушилка для белья.

  • Poor – Андрей from Ukraine – May 1, 2024 (3/10)

What could be improved:
