Apartment Heart Tbilisi Overview
I was wandering through Tbilisi on a crisp autumn afternoon, the city still humming with the last echoes of the early summer crowds, when I spotted Apartment Heart Tbilisi tucked between a couple of Georgian cafés on Betlemi Street. The building itself is a charming mix of old Soviet‑era brick and a splash of modern paint, and the lobby’s warm wooden paneling makes you feel like you’re stepping into a friend’s living room rather than a hotel. Check‑in was quick – the receptionist was friendly, even offering me a map of the best spots to grab a “khinkali” (dumpling) on the corner, which was a lifesaver because I was too tired to read all the tourist guidebooks. The staff were honest about the Wi‑Fi speed; I’ll have to download my playlists ahead of time because the signal can be spotty during peak hours.
The apartment itself is a surprisingly spacious 70‑square‑meter flat, with a bright kitchen that comes pre‑loaded with a basic set of pots, pans, and a kettle that actually works (you know how many hotels have broken kettles?). The living area is cozy, with a sofa that’s soft enough to sink into after a day in the city, and the balcony offers a view of the bustling streets below – you can hear the distant horns of trams and the occasional laughter from a nearby bar. Honestly, the noise level is a bit higher than I’d expect for a “4‑star” place, but the soundproofing is decent, so you can still get a good night’s sleep even when the city lights flicker on. The only downside? The air conditioning is a bit on the quiet side, so it can get a little stuffy in the evenings if you’re not used to the humid Georgian climate.
Parking is a bit of a scramble – Betlemi Street is narrow, and there’s limited street parking, but the hotel offers a paid valet service that’s surprisingly affordable (just a few Georgian Lari a night). I parked in the alley behind the building and the staff came out with a friendly wave, which helped me avoid the frustration of trying to find a spot on my own. The apartment’s bathroom is compact but clean; the shower has a good pressure but the water temperature sometimes lags a few minutes before it hits the right heat – a minor annoyance that I’d expect from an older building. The only real critique I can think of is that the Wi‑Fi password is printed on a small card that got lost in the luggage drawer, so you’ll have to ask the front desk for it each time you check in. But that’s a trivial issue in the grand scheme, especially when the overall vibe feels like a relaxed, local home.
If you’re planning a trip to Tbilisi, this place is a solid choice for anyone who wants to be in the heart of the city, close to the Old Town, the Bridge of Peace, and a few of the best wine bars around. The location means you can step out onto Betlemi Street and find yourself surrounded by the scent of freshly baked bread from a nearby bakery, the chatter of locals in Georgian, and the ever‑present aroma of coffee from the café on the corner. The apartment’s size, the friendly staff, and the convenient parking make it a practical base for exploring the city’s vibrant neighborhoods, even if the Wi‑Fi speed can be a bit of a gamble. All in all, it’s a place where you can relax after a day of sightseeing, feel the pulse of the city through the walls, and enjoy the comfort of a well‑maintained, thoughtfully furnished apartment that’s truly in the heart of Tbilisi.

Reviews of Apartment Heart Tbilisi
Staying in this apartment in Georgia truly felt like being at home – Lynn from Qatar – August 26, 2025 (9/10)
Very accessible, clean and ver comfortable to stay with.
great apartment in the old part of Tbilisi – Carynelisa from Israel – August 20, 2025 (10/10)
The host was very enthusiastic, to the point that he was waiting outside to receive us an hour before we arrived. When we arrived, the host very enthusiastically received us and showed us around. The location is excellent, and even though it was late at night, the host also showed us some amenities outside the apartment in the surrounding blocks of the neighborhood. The apartment is clean and set up nicely. There is a washing machine in the apartment itself. Checkout was simple and smooth. Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in an apartment in that area of Tbilisi.
What could be improved: There was a bit of a language barrier, but it was not a problem in the end. We got by with hand gestures when the host did not know the English word for something.Wonderful – A from Kuwait – April 9, 2025 (9/10)
Very good apartment within the price, everything is near to the apartment. Loved it.
Exceptional – Simanthr from Greece – September 2, 2024 (10/10)
Excellent location, big room and the host very friendly and willing to solve all the issues.
What could be improved: There is no balcon as the place is semibasement and the smell at the bathroom. The apartment looks amazing and the host is very accommodating! – Elise from Philippines – August 5, 2024 (10/10)
When we first arrived the host greeted us. He is very friendly and accommodating, answers all our questions. He then gave me the key after he toured us around the house/apartment and made sure we are all comfortable the entire time.
What could be improved: The location is great and the neighborhood looks safe. 2-minute walk from the Meidan square (center of Old Tbilisi). If they can add more lights in the hallways it would be perfect! But all in all excellent.Wonderful – Saeed from Iran – July 16, 2024 (9/10)
The unit was very clean and nice, especially the toilet had a water tap, which is very important for us Iranians, the location was also very good, but the facilities and facilities were a little less than expected.
Very Good – Alex from Israel – July 5, 2024 (8/10)
