You know what really surprised me about the Apartment by the river? I went in with pretty modest expectations – I mean, the name sounds almost generic, right? But honestly, this place completely changed how I think about waterfront stays. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of calm that just washes over you, and I’m pretty sure it has everything to do with the sound of water flowing just outside your windows.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a really thoughtful friend’s place than a typical hotel room. Everything’s been chosen with actual living in mind – the kitchen has proper knives (you know how rare that is in rentals), the couch is actually comfortable enough to fall asleep on, and the bed… well, let’s just say I had some of the best sleep I’ve had in months. The river views are genuinely spectacular, especially in the early morning when the light hits the water just right. I found myself getting up earlier than usual just to sit with my coffee and watch the day start. There’s something almost hypnotic about it – you can hear the gentle current even with the windows closed, which honestly became my favorite natural white noise machine.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to detail that you only notice after you’ve been there a day or two. The shower pressure is fantastic, the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space, and someone clearly thought about storage because there are clever little nooks everywhere for your stuff. I mean, they even have a proper full-length mirror, which sounds small but you’d be amazed how many places skip that. The location gives you this perfect balance too – peaceful enough that you forget you’re in a busy area, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. Parking was surprisingly easy (I was dreading that part), and the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward. My only tiny complaint? The coffee maker is one of those pod machines, so if you’re particular about your morning brew like I am, you might want to bring your own setup. But honestly, that’s such a minor thing when everything else works so well. The 4-star rating feels right – it’s not trying to be overly fancy, but everything they do, they do really well. I’ve stayed at places twice the price that didn’t have half the thoughtfulness of this apartment.

  Beautiful view from the balcony, very clean and good looking apartment. Host was hospitable. TV:s were good and could be easily connected wirelessly to laptop. Having a grocery store and shopping mall nearby was also useful. Facilities were useful such as a washing machine and a dishwasher. The air-conditioning is good and easily adjustable. The interior was very modern and cozy. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely visit again.

  The Appartment is amazing!!!! Everything was perfect. It is so cosy and modern, very clear and fresh and have such a wonderful view on Tbilisi! We enjoyed our staying. In the building there is the mini market Spar, old Tbilisi is near too. So we will comeback here once again!
