From the moment I stepped onto Abashvili Street, the city’s rhythm started to pulse through the apartment—soft chatter from the neighboring cafés, distant church bells, and that unmistakable scent of freshly baked khachapuri drifting in from the corner bakery. The check‑in was surprisingly quick; the host—an elderly Georgian woman with a friendly smile—handed me the keys with a quick, “Welcome home.” No long forms, no awkward waiting. Just a warm “I’ll be right back, please make yourself at home.”

The flat itself feels like a second bedroom on a different floor. The living area is surprisingly spacious, with a minimalist design that lets the natural light flood in. I mean, the view from the balcony is a highlight; you can see the winding cobblestones of the Old Town and the distant silhouette of Mtatsminda. It’s a great spot for a morning coffee—there’s a tiny wooden table outside, and I could hear the distant traffic and the clink of plates from the nearby restaurant. The kitchen is fully equipped; there’s even a small espresso machine that’s perfect for those late‑night study sessions. The bed is super comfy—think memory foam with a thick, soft duvet (I swear it feels like sleeping on a cloud). The bathroom is a bit small but spotless, and the shower has a good water pressure—no worries there.

Parking can be a nightmare in the city, but the apartment provides a small parking spot right outside the building—no hassle, just a few minutes to get your car out. Noise is manageable; the streets are lively but not overwhelming, and the apartment’s walls are thick enough that you can’t hear the traffic at night. If you’re a bit sensitive to noise, I’d recommend sleeping with a white noise app or a fan—though honestly, it’s barely noticeable. The Wi‑Fi is decent, but I found it a tad slow during peak hours, so if you need to upload large files, it might be better to wait until early morning or use the host’s phone as a hotspot.

When it comes to exploring, the location is unbeatable. A 5‑minute walk takes you to the Metekhi Bridge and the bustling Freedom Square, and you’re just a stone’s throw from the sulfur baths if you’re craving a traditional soak. For dinner, I ventured down to a local khinkali place on the other side of the street—mouth‑watering dumplings that were a hit. If you’re traveling in the summer, expect crowds around the Old Town, but the apartment’s small balcony is a great place to escape the heat and watch the city’s evening lights. Winter is quieter, with the streets dusted in snow and the city lights reflecting off the river—purely magical. All in all, Apartment Abashvili 3 feels like a home base that’s both comfortable and authentically Georgian.   My family really liked the apartment and enjoyed the stay there. As I live in tbilisi, I requested the owner to show me the apartment before my family came and they were comfortable to show me the apartment before the stay. The apartment was clean and tidy and looks exactly like the photos uploaded. I could contact the owner through whatsapp and was so co-operative.

  A comfortable apartment that has everything necessary for relaxation and accommodation of two, and if necessary, three or four people. Comfortable beds, quiet at night, quite warm in winter, good internet, there is a place to work on a laptop. Within walking distance is the large East Point shopping center and the Carrefour hypermarket. It’s a bit far from the center of Tbilisi and from the metro, but minibuses stop right in front of the entrance, and public transport often runs along the neighboring highway (5-7 minutes walk to the stop) towards the center to various metro stations, so getting there is not a problem. Wonderful hospitable host Grigol. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to those who value privacy and modern surroundings, and who don't mind sacrificing a little extra time getting around the city.
  
  What could be improved: This is not a problem, but for my taste there is not enough light in the bathroom, I would add a lamp above the mirror.

  If you're coming with a car, type "Military City Park" as an adress to get to the right parking. The appartement is spacious, well equiped and a short drive from the airport.

  The host -Grigol has been very accommodating and hospitable. He offerred to pick me up on the airport and he went out of his way to help me with my other requests.
  
  What could be improved: the location was not something I was expecting. it’s not walking distance to the city itself, you will need to take a cab if you wish to go to the city center like freedom square, bridge of peace etc.
  
  I am not a Russian/Georgian speaker so it was a bit of a challenge. good thing Grigol offerred me some help in booking the taxis going to the city center.
  
  
  The bed is a little uncomfortable, and the walls are thin, you can easily hear your neighboors and the footsteps from the floor above yours.

  Отдыхали в августе. Дом находится близко к аэропорту. До центра далековато,но каждые 10 мин под домом останавливается маршрутка. Магазин под домом, рядом торговый центр огромный.

  Хорошая чистая квартира: в одной комнате стол, 4 стула, телевизор, раскладной диван и кухня. Из кухонных принадлежностей есть всё, что необходимо. Другая комната – спальня с двуспальной кроватью и большим шкафом. Просторная ванная комната с душем. Всё чисто, хозяин радушный.
  Местоположение – не в центре, но маршрутка останавливается прямо у подъезда, едет до конечной остановки метрополитена.
  Плюс – в шаговой доступности большой коммерческий центр, где в том числе есть огромный супермаркет Carrefour.

  Большая просторная квартира. Торговый центр в 3 минута. Легко добраться до центра. Окна выходят во двор, тихо. Никаких проблем с водой. Хороший интернет.

  Квартира просторная, большая кухня-прихожая и спальня, есть балкон. Огромный стол на кухне. Недалеко один из немногих больших ТЦ и гипермаркет. Отличный хозяин. На связи и если что-то не так, исправляет или подсказывает.
  
  What could be improved: Район на окраине, не очень развита инфраструктура, но до метро можно добраться за 10 мин на автобусе.
