The building itself is a charming, two‑storey structure on Shindiseli Gmiri Street – the kind of narrow lane that gets a bit dusty after the rain, but the smell of fresh-cut grass from the courtyard keeps it from feeling stale. The entrance is a little hidden behind a graffiti‑covered wall, which you only notice once you’ve walked a few paces from the main road. Check‑in was quick – the front desk guy handed me the key with a grin and a quick “Good luck!” that felt more like a friendly tip than a formal greeting. He mentioned that the elevator is a bit old, so you might want to take the stairs if you’re carrying a lot of luggage – but the stairs are a decent workout and the view from the top floor is worth it.

The apartment itself is a cozy 35‑square‑meter space that feels more like a home than a hotel room. The bathroom has a shower with a showerhead that actually doesn’t leak, which is a rare win in this city. Noise-wise, the apartment is oddly quiet – the building’s brick walls do a good job of muffling the city’s hum, and the only sound that gets through is the occasional distant train or the soft thud of a delivery truck. Parking is a bit of a hustle; the nearest street parking can be full, but there’s a small, paid parking lot a block away that doesn’t cost too much and is a lifesaver if you’re getting up early for a morning coffee.

When it comes to the neighborhood, you’re right in the middle of a neighborhood that feels like a living museum of old‑world charm. A few minutes’ walk brings you to Rustaveli Avenue, where the cafés spill onto the sidewalks and you can smell roasted chestnuts from a nearby vendor. The historic district is a stone’s throw away, so you can wander into the old town and end up in front of the Sioni Cathedral without breaking a sweat. If you’re into art, the Gorgasali Gallery is about a 15‑minute walk, and you’ll find it tucked between a bakery and a boutique made of repurposed wood. I also liked that the apartment’s balcony opens onto a small courtyard where you can hear the faint chatter of locals in Georgian – it adds a layer of authenticity that you just don’t get from a hotel lobby. The only downside was that the apartment’s window faces the street, so on hot summer afternoons the air‑conditioner can feel a bit like a fan at a concert – but that’s a minor quibble compared to the overall vibe. For travelers who want the feel of a local home with a touch of privacy and a central spot in the city, Apartment 16 is seriously worth considering.

  A nice flat with everything you need inside it. Although, located at the end of the tube line, it's easy to get to the centre, as well as the airport.

  The host was very relaxed and friendly. We didn't meet but she was always available through phone.
  The check-in and checkout was very easy and effortless. Checkout time was also very nice.
  There was everything we needed in the apartment.
  The location is on the outskirts of the city but it's close to a metro stop, so it's a quick ride to the city center.
  
  What could be improved: There was an elevator but it wasn't working without some code, so we ended up walking 4 flights of stairs every time. I also had a little trouble getting out of the building. It would be nice to add more instruction for both these issues.
  There was an issue with hot water not running, but it was quickly resolved via phone with the host.

  What could be improved: The owner was away and his brother helped host but he forgot to explain where to leave the key. i would have left it on the inside of the door but i needed the key to access the lift with my suitcases!

  Отличная квартира, полностью соответствует фотографиям и описанию, удобные спальные места, подушки, одеяла, постельное белье, полотенца – все было, хорошая ванная комната, своя газовая колонка, поэтому горячая вода и отопление есть всегда, Небольшая мини-кухня, есть все необходимое, готовили сами. Красивые окна в полный рост). Чистота везде. До метро примерно 10 минут пешком, а оттуда до центра еще примерно 15 минут. Рядом много продуктовых и прочих магазинов. Прекрасный хозяин, всегда был на связи и оперативно решал все вопросы. Дистанционное заселение. Спасибо за отличный отдых в Тбилиси!

  Очень хорошее месторасположение, метро, магазины, обменники, все рядом. Удобные кровать и диван, дали возможность хорошо отдохнуть после прогулок по городу. Замечательный хозяин, оперативно решил возникший вопрос, респект!

  Хороший вариант проживания. Рядом метро, что намного лучше, чем ехать на авто. В апартаментах все есть. Рядом магазины, пекарня. Все супер. Хозяин очень гибкий человек. Все можно решить. Будем в городе, только сюда.
