Aparthotel Hilton Blox Overview

I stayed at the Aparthotel Hilton Blox in Tbilisi, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a modern home instead of a hotel room. Check‑in was a breeze—there was a 24‑hour front desk, and the staff handed me a digital key that popped right onto my phone. They were friendly enough to point out that the lobby music is a soft, local jazz mix that you can’t hear over the city’s hum. The first thing that struck me was the apartment‑style layout—two rooms, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a living area that’s big enough to spread out with a travel bag in the middle. No cramped hotel beds here; the double bed is surprisingly plush, and the linens feel like you’d find in a boutique hotel in a more upscale part of town.

The apartment’s window faces Bochorma Street, which is a bit quieter than the main arteries like Rustaveli Avenue, but you still catch the rhythmic clatter of buses and the occasional shout of a street vendor. I found the noise level to be perfectly balanced—no constant drone, just the city’s pulse. I do have to mention that the floor is a little thin; if you’re a light sleeper, an extra set of earplugs might help, especially on nights when a nearby club starts up. The real perk is that the windows are double‑glazed, so the street chatter doesn’t seep into the room. The kitchenette is surprisingly well stocked: you get a kettle, a mini‑fridge, a coffee maker, and a selection of local tea varieties—an absolute must for someone who’s trying to keep a caffeine routine while exploring. I also found a small, free whiteboard on the fridge that the hotel staff updated daily with local tips—like the best spots for a quick lunch on the 5th of May Street.

Parking is a mixed bag. If you’re driving, there’s a paid parking spot right across the street with a meter, but you can park for free on Sundays. The hotel does not offer in‑house parking, so you’ll need to rely on the street or a nearby paid garage. If you’re staying for a weekend, it’s worth checking if any of the local apartment rentals are offering a discount for guests who stay at the hotel. The staff actually helped me find a cheap spot a block away, so I didn’t have to wander around the whole city for a spot. I also discovered that the lobby has a small, free Wi‑Fi hotspot that’s reliable, which was a lifesaver when I was trying to book a last‑minute table at a local restaurant on Mtatsminda Road. The check‑in experience was quick, but the staff did a good job of explaining the building’s security system and how to use the elevator—there’s a little note near the button that says “Press 1 for ground floor, 2 for the first floor, 3 for the second floor.” They also let me know that the elevator is a bit slow during peak hours, so if you’re early in the morning or late at night, it might take a while.

When I stepped outside, the street was buzzing with a mix of locals and tourists. A few blocks away, you’d find the old Soviet‑era cinema turned into a quirky café, and the next corner is the famous “Baba’s Kitchen” where the Georgian khinkali are so good you’ll want to stay for dinner. The hotel’s location is perfect for anyone who wants to be near the historic center but not right in the middle of the traffic. I took a short walk to Freedom Square, and the view from the terrace of the Blox apartment was a great backdrop for my Instagram stories. The city’s vibe is eclectic, with a blend of old stone architecture and new, glassy skyscrapers. The sound of a distant church bell, the aroma of roasted chestnuts from a vendor on Gorgasali, and the faint scent of fresh coffee all come together to create a sensory experience that’s uniquely Tbilisi. In short, this is a place that feels like a friend’s apartment in a new city—comfortable, practical, and just the right touch of local flavor.

Tbilisi hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in Georgia’s cultural capital, known for its legendary wine culture and unique architectural blend.

Reviews of Aparthotel Hilton Blox

  • Perfect – Caiyuan from United States – May 8, 2025 (10/10)

The balcony is large and transparent. The decoration is very detailed. The mattress is very comfortable.

What could be improved: The legs of dining chairs are easy to fall off. It is best to repair and fix them in time.

  • Not good for group stay, some apartments not as they at the photos – Sergey from Serbia – June 17, 2025 (6/10)

Some of apartments were reeeeeaaally cool. Specially on the 22 and 2 floor. About other – better to see before.

What could be improved: We comes as a group and book 2 two-bedrooms and 1 one-bedroom apartment. When we come they said one of two-bedooms apartment are not availeble. (We book it and received message from host several hours before we are come, and hi not said us nothing about availability issues).
So, my friends waited apartment cleaning 2 hours after we come. It’s terrible and no professional. Host called me “when you come”, but for what? Apartments wasn’t ready. I can’t say other apartments were much worse. But, it’s not what are you waiting to see.

  • Pleasant – Victoria from Italy – August 19, 2024 (6/10)

What could be improved:
