The location is actually brilliant, and I mean that. You’re on Tsinamdzgvrishvili street, which sounds intimidating but it’s right in the heart of things without the tourist chaos. Chugureti has this authentic Georgian vibe — you’ll see locals going about their daily lives, small cafes tucked into corners, and traditional balconies hanging over narrow streets. It’s maybe a 10-minute walk to the old town, but honestly, I enjoyed exploring this neighborhood more than the crowded tourist areas. The couples rating makes total sense here — it’s romantic without trying too hard.

The Apartment Experience

Here’s where Console really shines — each room is essentially a mini-apartment with a proper kitchenette. I’m talking full-sized fridge, stovetop, and enough counter space to actually cook if you want to. The bed was comfortable (firm, the way I like it), and the bathroom had excellent water pressure — something you can’t take for granted in Tbilisi. What I loved most was the little balcony overlooking the street. Perfect for morning coffee while watching the city wake up. The natural light streaming through the windows made the space feel even more inviting and spacious.

Practical Perks

The parking situation is sorted, which is huge if you’re driving in Georgia — trust me, you don’t want to hunt for street parking in this city. There’s also a small restaurant on-site, though I only tried breakfast there. It was decent, nothing spectacular, but convenient when you don’t feel like venturing out. The WiFi actually works well throughout the building, and they have a 24-hour front desk, which came in handy when I needed directions to a late-night pharmacy. The housekeeping staff was attentive and professional throughout my stay.

Look, Console isn’t trying to be the fanciest place in Tbilisi, and that’s exactly why it works so well. The 9.2 rating reflects what I experienced — solid comfort, great location, and staff who actually care about your stay. It’s particularly perfect for couples because you get that cozy, home-away-from-home feeling without sacrificing hotel amenities. The neighborhood gives you a real taste of Georgian life, but you’re still close enough to hit all the main sights. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning a longer trip where having that kitchen space would be a real advantage. This property delivers genuine value and authentic hospitality.

  We checked in early morning because of an early flight and it was really easy going. The bedroom was everything we needed : confortable and clean ! Perfect for one night 🙂

  Very warm welcome from Mischa the receptionist on arrival. A very clean, cosy room in the basement. Well decorated and furnished. Though the bathroom was small, it was also well appointed. The hotel is about fifteen minutes walk from the railway station which is why I booked it as I had an early morning train to catch.
