I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Ambassadori Tbilisi Hotel, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. You know how sometimes luxury hotels in emerging destinations can feel a bit… trying too hard? Well, this place actually gets it right. The lobby has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look how fancy we are,” but you can tell they’ve put serious thought into every detail.

What really struck me was how the hotel manages to feel both international and authentically Georgian at the same time. The staff – and I mean everyone from the concierge to the housekeeping team – seem genuinely proud to be there, which honestly makes such a difference. They’ll chat with you about the best khinkali spots (not just the touristy ones) and actually know which wine bars are worth your time. The rooms are spacious in that way that makes you forget you’re in a city center, with these massive windows that let in gorgeous natural light. The beds are proper comfortable too – I’m talking sink-right-in-and-sleep-like-a-baby comfortable, which isn’t always a given even at five-star places.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the hotel sits in this perfect sweet spot where you’re close enough to Tbilisi‘s old town to walk there in about ten minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the late-night noise from the bars and restaurants. The breakfast spread is impressive without being overwhelming (they do this incredible Georgian cheese bread that I’m still thinking about), and the evening scene at their restaurant feels local rather than hotel-sterile. I mean, you’ll see actual Tbilisi residents dining there, which is always a good sign. The spa area is smaller than some big chain hotels, but it’s beautifully designed and never felt crowded when I was there. One thing that surprised me – they have this rooftop space that gives you these sweeping views over the city, especially beautiful at sunset when the light hits all those colorful houses cascading down the hillsides. It’s not flashy or Instagram-obsessed, just… genuinely lovely. If you’re the type who appreciates attention to detail without the stuffiness that sometimes comes with high-end hotels, you’ll probably love this place as much as I did.

  The hotel is beautiful and very clean
  Very central the breackfast it's amazing tasty and full of options for everybody. We also enjoyed very much the hotel restaurant . My brother got married during the stay when they saw us leaving for the wedding we were gifted a chapagne bottle . Most of the people at the hotel were very sweet and kind . Pooland spa was very nice
