agmashenebeli95 Overview
I arrived in Tbilisi on a breezy Saturday morning, the city already buzzing with the clatter of tram wheels and the distant hum of the old Marjanishvili theatre. The hotel, agmashenebeli95, is tucked into Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue 95‑1, right next to the Chugureti metro station—so you’re literally steps from the heart of the city if you’re willing to wander a bit. Honestly, the first thing that caught my eye was the humble brick façade, almost like a secret tucked behind the more flamboyant hotels on Rustaveli. Check‑in was quick and friendly—no long queues, just a warm hug from the receptionist who gave me a local phone number in case I needed a taxi later. Parking is a hidden gem; there’s a small underground lot that charges a modest fee, and you can leave your car overnight with no worries (though the street outside can get a bit noisy after midnight if you’re staying on the lower floor). The lobby? Cozy, with a few mismatched armchairs that look like they’ve seen better days, but the scent of fresh coffee from the café on the ground floor lifts your spirits immediately.
The rooms themselves are a cozy blend of modern comfort and Georgian charm. I booked the upper‑floor double, and the view of the city skyline was a nice backdrop for my late‑night work sessions. The bed was surprisingly plush—think memory foam, but with that local linen feel that keeps you cool. The bathroom was spotless, with a rainfall shower that, when you close the door, gave the whole room a spa‑like quiet. I noted the small touch of a hand‑painted ceramic vase on the desk, a nod to local artisans. Breakfast was a real treat: a spread of fresh baked bread, honeyed yogurt, and the local favorite, khachapuri, that tasted like it was made in a family kitchen (not some generic hotel fare). The café downstairs is a favorite among locals for its strong black coffee and the occasional live accordion on weekends—if you’re early enough to catch it, you’ll hear the rhythm echoing the city’s heartbeat. The only slight downside was that the balcony door was a bit creaky, so a small draft could sneak in during the night, but that’s a tiny price to pay for the city view.
If you’re planning a visit, timing matters. The spring and early autumn months are the sweet spot—light traffic, pleasant temperatures, and the city’s festivals are in full swing without turning the streets into a perpetual carnival. I found that the hotel stays relatively quiet after 11 pm, but if you’re a night owl, the street outside can become a bit raucous, especially on weekends when tourists flock to the nearby Tbilisi Old Town. For a quieter stay, choose a room on the higher levels, and you’ll get the best of the city lights without the midnight traffic hum. Parking, as I mentioned, is a plus, and the staff will even arrange a taxi if you’re heading to the Georgian National Museum or the Metekhi Church—just give them a heads‑up. All in all, agmashenebeli95 is a solid choice for travelers who want a blend of local authenticity and modern convenience, without the feel of a typical hotel brochure. The rating of 9.5 speaks for itself, and honestly, it’s a spot I’d recommend to my friends when they’re looking for a genuinely Georgian experience in the heart of the city.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Tbilisi at least two months ahead for major events like wine festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near cultural attractions.

Nice, cosy, sweet. – Badalov from Azerbaijan – December 26, 2023 (10/10)
Owner is sweet and nice 😊. If I ever come again, at least I will go to visit her. Despite house is old fashioned, it was such clean and tidy.
Location is heart of the city.10-Star Tiblisi Guesthouse – Aqib from United Arab Emirates – October 15, 2023 (10/10)
First of all, the elderly lady is incredibly cooperative; she is advanced in age and treats us as if we were her own children. The Guesthouse is located in the heart of Tbilisi, with everything readily available outside, such as food, shopping, and supermarkets. The Guesthouse is impeccably decorated and well-maintained, ensuring a clean and neat environment. It is fully equipped with kitchen amenities, a Muslim shower, a heater, an AC, a cupboard, an iron, a TV, and a refrigerator, among other things.
There are no restrictions on us going out, even late at night, and we feel just as safe there as we do in our own home. I highly recommend that everyone experience a stay at this place. It deserves 10 stars from me.

What could be improved: nothing, everything was greatVery Good – Evgenii from Russia – October 15, 2022 (8/10)
Attitude of the mistress of the house was just excellent. Natella is very kind and friendly woman. The place is located in the very center of the city, very convenient.
What could be improved: It's a bit dirty, for example cobwebs on the windows, or cockroaches in the bathroom. The heater doesn't work so we have to use AC in the heating mode. And BTW looks like it's not the same room on the pictures.Good value in a lively neighborhood – Wanda from Germany – May 25, 2024 (8/10)
This was a really cozy place for our group of three, located in a lively neighbourhood which is popular with locals and tourists alike. Big plus was the private parking space for our rental car and a small outdoor sitting area. We would definitely come back. Good value for money!
What could be improved: The sofa bed for the third person is a bit short and very soft. Not suitable for tall people but it was ok for us.Exceptional – Оруджов from Azerbaijan – July 16, 2025 (10/10)

Отличное размещение в центре Тбилиси! – Victor from Georgia – July 4, 2025 (10/10)
