I didn’t even need to climb a few flights of stairs; the elevator is surprisingly quiet and fast, which is a relief considering the hotel is right next to a busy intersection.

Tbilisi. Parking is a bit of a hassle; the hotel’s own spot is limited, so I had to park a block away on a private lot that charges daily. It’s a bit of a walk, but the route is straightforward—just follow Betlemi down to the traffic light, then turn right into the narrower side street. When I went back for the last time, the noise level was surprisingly low. The building’s soundproofing is top‑notch, so you’re not waking up to the rumble of traffic or the chatter from the street below.

What really makes this place feel like a home away from home are the little bits of local life that you can’t miss. The corner bakery across the street sells fresh khachapuri and offers a steaming cup of black coffee that tastes like history. On Sundays, a group of musicians practice in the courtyard, filling the air with the melancholic tunes of a duduk and the rhythmic clinking of darbuka drums.   What a spectacular little spot! So central to all the hustle and bustle of the beautiful city of Tbilisi, which made it so easy to walk to and from wherever you wanted to go around Old Town. A wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it.
