The reception area, with its minimalist décor, has this understated charm that feels more like a local home than a fancy hotel lounge.

Walking from the lobby, you can hear the city’s soundtrack: distant church bells, the clatter of scooters, and the occasional shout from a nearby café. The building itself is close to the old city, so you can stroll into the cobblestone streets, pop into a bakery for fresh khachapuri, or grab a coffee at a street‑side café that’s been around since the Soviet era. I found a small parking lot right outside, and the valet service was quick—just a couple of minutes to get the car back, which is a huge relief if you’re staying late or have a lot of luggage. The noise level inside the rooms is surprisingly low; even the traffic outside feels muffled by the thick walls, and the windows open to a quiet courtyard that smells faintly of pine from the nearby botanical gardens.

The rooms are a mix of modern comfort and a touch of Georgian hospitality. The bed is huge, with crisp white linens that feel better than they look. I noticed a small, tasteful rug on the floor—no frills, just a subtle, warm texture that makes you want to stay on the couch and watch the city lights from the balcony. The bathroom is clean, the shower has a good water pressure, and the toiletries are from a local brand that actually smells like fresh citrus, not that generic plastic scent you get everywhere else. The mini‑fridge is stocked with bottled water and a few local snacks—cheese and jam in a small tin that makes the space feel less like a hotel and more like a home.

What I love about Квартира is how easy it is to blend into the city’s rhythm. The staff knows the best spots for a mid‑morning espresso—there’s a café on the corner of Shota Rustaveli St that serves espresso so strong it practically wakes you up. If you’re traveling during the busy summer months, expect the streets to bustle, but the hotel’s location on Victor Kupradze St is far enough from the main squares to keep the noise at a manageable level. Late at night, the building itself is quiet, and the air outside is sweet with the faint scent of blooming lilacs from a nearby garden. I even took a quick walk to the nearby Tbilisi Botanical Garden after dinner; the paths were well lit, and the night air was cool, which made for a perfect end to a day of exploring.

Early hotels booking in Tbilisi requires advance planning during peak wine seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s legendary hospitality and thermal springs.

  The "Квартира" was exactly as shown on the pictures. Clean, comfortable. Has everything that is needed for the couple days to stay. The host is very friendly and positive. Near apartment there are a lot of stores, food, bakery that open till late hours.
